According to the Bhavishyottara Purana, on Jyeshtha Shukla Pratipada one should worship the tree of ‘Kaner’ by going into some holy place. Karveer means Kaner and that is why it is called Karveer Vrat. One should bathe the trunk, branches and sub-branches of the the tree and offer red clothes and worship with naivedya, perfume, flowers, Dhoop etc. Keeping the Saptadhanya close to it, one should place bananas, oranges, bijoura and gunak etc. and read the following mantra:

Karveer Vishavas Namaste Bhanuvallabh।

Maulimandan Durgadidevanam Satatam Priya।।

By reading and praying ‘Aakrishanain Rajasa Vartamaano‘, offer the worship material to the Brahmin, then come home and fast. This fast is for the sun, which gives instant results to the women affected by epidemics. In ancient times, Savitri , Saraswati, Satyabhama ( know how Hanuman ji broke pride of Satyabhama ) and Damyanti etc. had achieved the greatness with this fast. This year Karveer Vrat is on 01 May 2018 .

Parvati Pooja 2018

According to the Nirnayamrit, Parvati was born on Jyeshtha Shukla’s Tritiya. Therefore, women should worship Her with reverence and devotion on this day for the growth of their happiness and good fortune. Celebrate Her birth anniversary with singing, playing and dance by offering a variety of fruits, flowers and Naivaidya etc. This year Parvati pooja is on 03 May 2018

Shiva Pooja 2018

According to the Bhavishyottara Purana, on the Ashtami of Shukla or Krishna Paksha of Jyeshtha month one should worship lord Shiva and Shukladevi on Shuklashtami only. When Shukladevi killed the demons, the deities worshiped her in joy and happiness. Therefore, humans should also worship Shuklashtami for the removal of troubles and difficulties of their lives.

Uma Brahmani Vrat 2018

According to the Bhavishyottara Purana, on Jyeshtha Shukla Navami, one should worship the white skin form of goddess Parvati named Brahmani, with full devotion and offer food and milk to a Brahmin and her daughter at night. Then one should have their food. This fast is very auspicious. This year Uma Brahmani Vrat is on 09 May 2018
